The Signature Vessel

One Shape. Two Rituals.

The Glazara Matcha Latte Cup is our definitive vessel, engineered to bridge the gap between the morning barista ritual and the afternoon tea ceremony.

While our Elemental Gaiwan and Elemental Teacup honor tradition, this vessel embraces modern versatility. Hand-thrown and reduction-fired, it features our proprietary inward-curled rim — a functional detail that traps micro-foam for high-contrast latte art and acts as a natural splash guard for vigorous matcha whisking.

Born From Fire: The High-Fire Variance

Unlike mass-produced ceramic molds, the Glazara Cup is defined by the kiln. We fire our porcelain at extreme temperatures to achieve deep glaze interaction (like the Aurora Shore).

Because of the intense chemical reaction between the clay and the glaze, the porcelain shrinks and settles differently in every firing.

  • The Range: Volume fluctuates between 220ml and 250ml (7.4oz - 8.5oz).
  • The Promise: No two vessels are mathematically identical. You are not buying a standard unit; you are acquiring a singular moment of alchemy.

FAQ

Q: Why is the inward rim important for lattes?
A: The Glazara inward-curl helps "roll" the milk back into the espresso during the pour, creating a cleaner canvas for latte art patterns.

Q: Will this fit a standard flat white or cappuccino?
A: Yes. Even at the lower variance (220ml), it perfectly accommodates a standard 6oz flat white or 8oz cappuccino with ample headspace.

Q: Is it suitable for whisking matcha directly in the cup?
A: Absolutely. The wide base and curved walls allow a standard bamboo chasen (whisk) to move freely without splashing.
