Hand-thrown in Jingdezhen, the Matcha Bowl embodies the mastery and patience of true ceramic craft. Its larger form demands advanced wheel-throwing skill - every curve must be shaped with control and intention to achieve perfect balance, weight, and symmetry.
Fired at 1,300 °C, the bowl is finished with our signature elemental sprayed glaze. On a vessel of this scale, the glazing process becomes even more intricate: each layer must be mixed, sprayed, and blended with greater precision to ensure a smooth, even flow without drips near the foot. The result is a surface that moves like watercolor—soft transitions, gentle depth, and a natural glow that only emerges after hours of attentive work.
Because the kiln responds uniquely to each piece, only a select number of bowls reveal the harmony of shape, glaze, and fire that we seek.
