The Art of Intimate Brewing
The Perfect Pour for One
In the busy modern world, a long tea ceremony isn't always possible. The Lacquer Bloom Solo (60ml) is designed for the shorter tea session that refuses to compromise on quality. This size is engineered for "high-ratio" brewing—allowing you to use less leaf while extracting maximum flavor, making it ideal for precious aged Puerh or Dancong Oolongs.
One Object, One Nature
Embodying the philosophy of "Wu Wo He Yi" (Unity of Object and Self), the lacquer surface is reactive. It is not cold like glass; it feels warm and "alive." With daily use, the lacquer will continue to oxidize, becoming brighter and more translucent over the years — recording the memories of your tea journey.

A Fusion of Earth and Time: The Craftsmanship
Unlike mass-produced teaware, every piece in this collection is a "living" art object, created by Artisan Xiaoqian. We utilize the ancient Zhangxiu (彰髹) technique, a labor-intensive process of burying color and revealing it through polishing.
- The Porcelain Body: We start with a hand-thrown body using vintage Jingdezhen clay. The shape is deliberately thin and elegant, styled for precise handling during a solo brew.
- The Lacquer: We use only natural sap from the lacquer tree. Mineral powders (for color) and gold or silver dust are mixed into the raw lacquer. These are painted in abstract, concentric "brush strokes" — the signature "Bloom" pattern that mimics Impressionist art.
- The Waiting: This is art that cannot be rushed. Each of the dozens of layers must cure for 24 hours in a specialized humidity-controlled shade room to oxidize perfectly before the next layer is applied.
- The Reveal: Once the layers are set, the artisan grinds the surface down. This reveals the "buried" textures hidden underneath, creating the stunning rings of color. A final hand-polishing results in a matte, warm finish that feels like jade in your hand.
